Karen, my neighbour down the street keeps chickens. We were doing sketches of her back yard flock when her friend Theresa dropped by. Upon hearing about the Sofa Sitter project and learning that I was looking for a dog to sit on a Fernwood sofa, she piled us into her car along with her spotted dog Lucky. I think I was the lucky one.
