Mahli, sofa sitting on Vancouver St. and Sutlej.
This was a most unusual yellow sofa. Vangie just happened to be running by that morning with her dog Mahli (named after Mahalia Jackson) and agreed to pause and let her sit for a shoot. It turned out they were visiting family in Victoria and are from the very small community of Ymir, B.C. with a population of under 300. Mahli has the distinction of being the only out of town dog to join the Sofa Sitters of Victoria.
